I guess this is the playtime...
I've done the hard work - writing the first novels - now I get to mess around for a while. What a lark indeed!
You might find something of interest here, you may want to contact me, you may never return to this site: whatever you do is fine. We all choose our own paths and I've come here for some fun.
My grandparents experienced huge changes in the world they lived in. They saw the introduction and rapid dependence on electrical equipment, telephones, aircraft, TV. They saw the very early days of computers - did they have any inkling how important technology would become? I know I didn't... Can you imagine what would happen now if those little electrons stopped scurrying down the wires and inside those microprocessors, banging their way through one logic gate after another with no regard for if they're latched closed behind them?
One thing this progress has allowed me to do is to publish my novels. One book became two when my readers begged for a sequel, and now the third in the Changes trilogy is being written. So much for publish that one novel and move on to the next group of characters who live in my head with their story clamouring to be written! But I've enjoyed getting to know the residents of Holmsford better.
Please have a browse for more information about my writing. As for my general musings on life, much of it wanders through my mind while I swing in the garden - OK, it's a 2-seater hammock, not a proper swing hung from a lovely big tree, but I can still swing fast enough to get Doppler effect from the traffic. Say I've lost it. Say I've reverted to childhood. But say it fast as I zip past you on my way to work on my one HP scooter. Yep, 1HP as in human power, an adult version of the child's toy, so it seems appropriate that I should have a sandpit online. I hope you enjoy the time you spend here: let me know if you want to borrow my bucket and spade.
